The Byrd Cancer Education and Advocacy Foundation will introduce an innovative wellness activation at the 2026 All Things Cancer and Wellness Expo with the addition of an Oxygen Bar Experience, offering attendees a dedicated space for rest, relaxation, and renewal. The activation will take place throughout the day on April 18 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City.
Sponsored by TOUCH, The Black Breast Cancer Alliance, the Oxygen Bar Experience is designed to provide a calming environment where attendees can pause, reset, and recharge amid a full day of programming, screenings, and educational sessions. The installation reflects a growing emphasis on integrating restorative wellness practices into health-centered events, particularly for individuals navigating high-stress health journeys.
The experience will allow participants to engage in guided breathing and relaxation while receiving oxygen therapy in a controlled setting. Often associated with stress reduction and mental clarity, oxygen bar sessions have gained popularity in wellness spaces for their ability to promote a sense of calm and rejuvenation. Within the context of the expo, the activation serves as both a physical and mental reset point for patients, caregivers, and community members.
Incorporating wellness activations such as the Oxygen Bar underscores a broader shift toward holistic care models that prioritize not only medical treatment and education, but also emotional and physical restoration. Events like the All Things Cancer and Wellness Expo are increasingly recognizing the importance of creating environments that support the full spectrum of well-being, especially for those impacted by cancer and other chronic conditions.
The Oxygen Bar Experience also highlights the role of community partnerships in expanding access to innovative wellness resources. By collaborating with organizations like TOUCH, the expo continues to bridge gaps between traditional healthcare services and emerging wellness practices, making these experiences more accessible to diverse audiences.
As attendees navigate a day filled with health screenings, panel discussions, and live conversations, the Oxygen Bar will offer a moment of intentional pause. The activation reinforces a central message of the expo — that wellness includes rest, and that healing extends beyond clinical care into spaces that nurture the mind and body.
