Meet Our Featured Speaker: Audrey Davis

We are proud to introduce Audrey Davis, a distinguished leader in behavioral health, program development, and health equity, as a featured speaker at our upcoming event. With over 10 years of direct service, supervisory, and administrative experience, Audrey has dedicated her career to advancing healthcare solutions that address the social determinants of health and improve patient outcomes.

Audrey Davis holds multiple professional certifications, including being a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a certified grant proposal writer, and a Project Management – Lean Process expert. Her educational journey began in Philadelphia, where she attended Central High School, followed by her undergraduate studies at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. She later earned her graduate degree from Eastern University in St. David’s, Pennsylvania.

Throughout her career, Audrey has focused on developing and managing programs that bridge the gap between behavioral health and healthcare, ensuring that individuals—especially those from historically underserved communities—receive the support they need. Her expertise lies in creating innovative, community-driven initiatives that drive real change.

Since joining the Cancer Support Community (CSC) in September 2022, Audrey has led numerous groundbreaking projects that address cancer disparities and promote health equity. Some of her most notable accomplishments include:

  • Cancer Disparities Toolkit – A comprehensive resource designed to help patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals navigate the challenges of cancer care inequities.
  • Center for Health Equity in Oncology – A pioneering initiative that focuses on making cancer care more inclusive and accessible for all communities.
  • Justified Medical Mistrust Docuseries – An award-winning documentary series that sheds light on the deep-rooted mistrust in healthcare systems among marginalized communities and the need for systemic change.
  • IDEAL Ambassador Program – A program designed to empower patient advocates and community leaders in their fight for equitable healthcare.

In addition to these projects, Audrey plays a pivotal role in CSC’s internal Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, ensuring that health equity remains at the core of the organization’s mission. She also leads a Health Equity working group, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals to address disparities in oncology care.

Audrey’s passion for health equity is deeply personal. At the age of 24, she became a caregiver to her father, who ultimately passed away due to complications from colorectal cancer. This life-changing experience shaped her career trajectory, inspiring her to develop programs that support patients and caregivers throughout their cancer journeys. Her firsthand understanding of the emotional, mental, and logistical challenges of caregiving allows her to approach her work with compassion, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to advocacy.

Audrey Davis is not only a leader in health equity and behavioral wellness but also a passionate advocate for systemic change in healthcare. Her work continues to influence the way organizations support cancer patients, caregivers, and communities in need.

We invite you to join us at the expo to hear Audrey’s powerful insights on cancer disparities, behavioral health, and the future of equitable care. Her expertise, coupled with her deeply personal connection to advocacy, will provide a compelling and meaningful discussion that you won’t want to miss.
