PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Byrd Cancer Education & Advocacy Foundation has announced the launch of its Restorative Confidence Program, a survivorship initiative designed to support cancer survivors in restoring confidence and emotional well-being following treatment. The program will be offered in connection with the 3rd Annual All Things Cancer + Wellness Expo taking place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City.

The Restorative Confidence Program is offered in partnership with Galore X Studio, a restorative tattoo provider specializing in post-treatment services for survivors. Through this initiative, eligible Expo attendees may receive full sponsorship or financial assistance for restorative services that are often not covered by insurance.

Program offerings include:

  • Full Sponsorship for unilateral or bilateral areola realism treatment for eligible breast cancer survivors
  • Grant Support for brow restoration services for cancer survivors impacted by treatment-related hair loss

Galore X Studio will also be present at the Expo to provide consultations, education, and information about restorative tattooing options for survivors interested in learning more about available services.

“For many survivors, healing does not end when treatment is completed,” said Trudean Haye, Executive Director of the Byrd Cancer Education & Advocacy Foundation. “Restoring confidence and reclaiming a sense of identity can be an important part of survivorship. This program was created to remove financial barriers and support survivors in feeling whole again.”

The Foundation has partnered with Galore X Studio for the past two years to offer similar opportunities, expanding the program in 2026 to reach more individuals through a structured sponsorship and grant model.

Cancer treatment often results in physical changes that can impact self-image and confidence. Services such as areola restoration and brow reconstruction can be transformative for survivors, yet many individuals cannot afford them due to medical expenses, loss of income, or insurance limitations.

The Restorative Confidence Program aims to address these gaps by providing direct financial support to eligible participants.

Applications for the program are available to registered attendees of the All Things Cancer + Wellness Expo. Funding and sponsorship awards are limited and not guaranteed.
