The 2026 All Things Cancer and Wellness Expo will feature a dedicated panel exploring sexual health and wellness after cancer, an area often underrepresented in patient care discussions. The session will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. on April 18 in the Orchestra Room at the DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City.
Titled “Sexual Health and Wellness After Cancer,” the panel will be moderated by Dr. Monique Gary and will include panelists Dr. Toya Gordon, Dr. Kimberly Rogers, and Margie McClarin.
The discussion will examine the physical and emotional effects of cancer treatment on intimacy, body image, and overall sexual well-being, while creating a safe and informative space for open dialogue.
Cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, can lead to lasting changes that affect sexual health. This session will highlight the importance of acknowledging these impacts and integrating sexual wellness into comprehensive survivorship care.
In addition to raising awareness, the panel will emphasize the availability of resources and support systems that can help individuals navigate these challenges. By bringing attention to this critical aspect of survivorship, the discussion aligns with the expo’s mission to promote whole-person care and improve quality of life for those affected by cancer.
